Latest Snapshot doesn't show the error. However I'm not quite sure if he does compilePerFile after all. Is there some evidence in the compiler output I can use to determine? Changing -XcompilePerFile to -XcompilePerFile2 gave an error about wrong parameters. So it should be the right parameter.
