I was having this issue with SyncJE v2.9 and brought it to the
attention of GooSync some time ago and they said it was a timezone
issue with the SyncJE client and that they'd work on it with
NextHaus. Their trick was to set my GooSync timezone to GMT0 but that
didn't work either (I actually ended up in a loop of events getting
propogated over and over again by 8hrs) so I just shut off the SyncJE
client.

I just noticed that SyncJE is up to 2.10 now so we'll see if that
works but, it seems like it's not working for anyone else.
