Your network provider shouldn't have any effect on this particular
issue.

It's being caused by the device timing out while it's waiting for
GooSync and Google to process the necessary data. This is a common
"feature" of most mobile phones that they will time out if they
haven't received a data message in a set amount of time (some devices
time out after 1 minute, some after 5 minutes).

Development are working on changes to GooSync that should prevent
these time outs from occuring.

Unfortunately it will be a major change to the sync code and could
take a while to complete.
