  It would be a real shame if the development team can't figure out a
way to support SyncML 1.0 devices, please give them my warm
encouragement.

  As a developer I'm sorely tempted to give advice, but given my
complete lack of knowledge of both your code and SyncML I'll keep it
to myself :) Here's hoping they can figure out a solution - GooSync
would make my phone's calendar useful again.
