Hurray Success!!!

Here is the resolution for T-mobile Nokia 5300 Music Xpress.

Neither the T-mobile tech support nor Nokia were able to help me with
this. In a nutshell, upgrading to total internet service on my Nokia
5300 did not enable all features/capabilities like I thought it
would. I had to get the configurations for total internet sent to my
phone from the Nokia website.

Here's how it worked.

I went to the Nokia website and created an account (free).

I went to support and phone settings:
http://www.nokiausa.com/support/settings/1,1921,,00.html

I chose to have advanced internet settings sent to my phone. This was
free. I already have the T-mobile monthly internet add on (extra
charge). I received the settings via SMS and saved them to the phone.

Once I got these settings, I was able to manually sync my phone using
the settings that GooSync had sent in the SMS. I went to settings/
connectivity/data transfer/server sync and chose the "edit" option. I
selected "calendar" as the synchronized data option and right
underneath I chose the goosync SMS configuration for sync settings.
Then I returned to server sync and and hit go. Now everything sync's
just fine.
