Joby & dasjahn
you may like to explore installing gOS on a Sun VirtualBox rather than
on a Bootcamp partition. That leaves the Linux tinkering within
Leopard rather than having to reboot each time. I've got Windows XP
floating around and it seems to work quite well on this MacBook. I
haven't tried printing from it yet, that's going to be an interesting
challenge as the printer is a Canon MP750 shared by an old iMac
accessed via Airport Extreme. It would probably be easier to print by
converting documents to a PDF and passing them to the MacOS via the
Shared folder. Assuming that can be done. It's easy on Leopard but
I've no idea how it could be done in XP or gOS.
VirtualBox has been faultless for me and especially on the price:
Free!!
