A good instruction on advanced partitioning schemes may be interesting
to many users, however (to put beginning users at ease) normally you
can just follow the instructions, and everything will end up fine.
Only if you want to do the install manually with advanced options
(like having a separate partition for your data) you will need the
advanced knowledge in this proposed instruction manual.

I don't know why gOS 3.0 won't install, and I am having so many
problems with installation suddenly, but I have painlessly installed -
all- previously (publicly available) versions of gOS without any
problems (and numerous other linux distributions too) . Its only THIS
beta version of gOS 3 that won't install for one reason or other on -
my- system. I suspect a bug somewhere in the installer that only pops
up under some circumstances, and with some releases only.
