try Terminal then
sudo apt-get install make makedev

That should get you what you need.

If using make to get the driver source installed doesn't work to get
your WiFi working.

Then you may also want to lspci and then check your WiFi Card, grab
the Windows Driver if there is one, and install it via NDISWrapper.

You may also want to checkout WiFio Radar to use as your Wireless
Network Manager:
