We're fitting a new Update system into gOS 3.0. So in future, when we ship Operating Systems from gOS 3.0 forward, you will be able to update from gOS 3.0 to gOS 3.5 to gOS 4.0 etc.
I know you cannot update to gOS 3.0 BETA automatically now, but you may want to install gOS 3.0 on your Sylvania when its released. Hope This helps.
