DO NOT INSTALL GOS GADGETS BETA USING WUBI UNDER WINDOWS. It encounters some odd bugs.
Also you may want to just wait a few days till the final release comes out. It should fix these bugs. You can always run the Beta from a Live CD till then to experiment with gOS if you would like.
