I have a USB Sierra aircard for my internet. When gOS final came out I
decided to try it and replaced my mandriva on the HD. In Mandriva I
use Kppp to use it. The Modem is /dev/ttyUSB0 in Mandriva but gOS
sees it as an empty storage device since I do not have a micro SD
card in it. The choices listed for modems when setting up ppp does
not list any USB devices and when I type in what i think it should be
it tells me that it cant find my modem. I did modinfo sierra in a
console to see if the sierra driver was built into the kernel and it
was. I am not sure how to get gOS to recognize this device as a usb
modem. Any ideas????

Thanks

Walt
