I don't know how it would really be more stable. Another "easy"
version of Linux to use is Linux Mint, also based on Ubuntu 8.04. I
currently use Mint, but am exploring gOS. I have used several Linux
distributions and Mint is the best out of the box configuration in my
book. I really like Ubuntu also, which both Mint and gOS are based
upon. As I mentioned however, out of the box Mint is really nice and
all Multimedia codecs are included. I am getting ready to give gOS a
whirl.
