Hey everyone... New to gOS and I have to say I love this so far for brand new users. My mom is being set up using an old Averatec 2300 series laptop in which I formatted.
The software awesomely detected everything I'm running, including an HP all in one printer (scanner too), wireless embedded chip and sound card, all of which every other Linux distro has failed to do. My problem comes in with dual monitors. My mom is half blind and can only see a 17" screen or above. My laptops are all 12 inch... Whenever I boot up, the laptop recognizes the big monitor and I can see gOS loading with it. However, when the OS officially loads the secondary monitor flips out and shows me some neat purples and oranges but never the desktop. I've checked refresh rate and the hertz rate to no avail as well as trying 3 different monitors. Anyone have any ideas to get any secondary monitor to work so my mom can use her new machine? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "gOS Linux" group.
