When does your warranty run out? And do you have a gOS 2.0 Backup disk for your Stepnote?
Basically Burn gOS 3.0 iso to a CD, when your warranty runs out run the Live CD and install, everything should smooth out as its ubuntu based. Or you could just install gOS 3.0 right away and if it screws up the install then just boot from your Backup CD and install the original operating system. Its a fairly easy process to install a new OS. If your not sure then just contact me : jobykent[at]thinkgos.com - Replace [at] with @. - Joby Kent Web Dev. Good OS LLC.
