I just tried my live CD with my AMD K6-2 500 and it seemed to work just fine. The only thing is my current memory configuration is only 128MB - 8MB for the video. I think that is the one thing holding me back because I've been advised of using at least 512MB for gOS 3.0. Anyway just when gOS was loading, and I could see the pretty green desktop wallpaper, I got some sort of error message with the "red minus sign" that said something about gnome couldn't load. Then it said it would try again. So I just clicked okay or whatever and that was it. I never got any further. My CD drive just kept running like it was still loading the gOS, but nothing happened. I am hopeful that gOS will work perfectly once I get 512MB of memory installed.
