Oh, okay, reading the help file it does not mention an option to "always stay on top", and I thank, as things are that wouldn't be a very useful option either, that is without also having an auto hide option, so that the icons do not block your view of the application, unless you move your cursor near the bottom (or wherever you have set your wBar).
To be frank, I don't think this wBar is fully developed yet. Not having an auto hide option, or an option that enables it to appear over an application window makes it quite useless IMHO. I liked the old launcher of the E17 version much better, although it had many "kinks" (it was quite buggy actually). This one is nice "eye candy", it is useful as an application Launcher for simple uses, and it works reliably, but it is nowhere near as good as the Dock of Mac OSX. Perhaps the Launcher of one of the community versions will be better. One other thing I do not like about most of the Launchers of gOS is that most of them are too technical to do more with than launch applications from the desktop from, and then only those applications that are pre-installed , look at the WbarConf program, it offers many options only the most technical users are interested in, like setting a font, while leaving out the relevant stuff and making it easy to use. In my opinion an application Launcher like the wBar (or the Dock) should have only configuration options that are useful to the average user, like setting auto hide on or off, controlling where the wBar is located, left, bottom, right (not top, it would interfere with the menu system there) and It should -always- appear on top of everything, a Launcher that is inaccessible is almost worthless. And it should be trivially easy to add or remove applications, preferably by an intuitive drag and drop method. This wBar seems to be written with other programmers in mind, rather than end users.
