All versions except gOS 2.9 "space", and gOS 3.0 "gadgets" are either
old and no longer supported, or unavailable to the generic public.
Of these two choices I would always go with gOS 3, except when you
have a strong favor for gOS space.

Obviously there are all the normal business applications like mail,
spread-sheet and word-processors available, in fact gOS comes loaded
will all you need.

You can "try before you buy", (even though gOS is free) by simply
running (booting, set the BIOS accordingly)  the CD, it is a Live_CD,
that is, it runs gOS from the CD without needing (or touching) a hard-
disk.

gOS can be burned by yourself, or bought from a vendor for less than
$10,-
