Yes, read the FAQ "gOS 3 Gadgets install guide"  I wrote, its on the
start page. The live CD isn't a classic install CD like you expect
from Windows, it rather is a fully functioning ("live") bootable CD
that runs the full gOS, in RAM from the CD, and on its desktop has an
icon of the actual installer application. The only way you can install
gOS is by booting to the desktop, then running the installer.
