love this OS, great replacement for VISTA which I still have w dual
boot. I cannot get sound card to work. I've didled with every mixer
control, and system preferences sound settings. Tried every
suggestion on this board and others related to sound. Sound
preferences show the following for playback: VT1708 Analog, ALSA,
OSS, PulseAudio Sound Server and Autodetect. I've tried all with no
success.
