Google just released the news that they will put onto the world a new
brainchild, a new OS they hope will compete with Windows on the
netbooks platform, a Linux based OS called "Google Chrome OS"

Read their official announcement here:
http://chrome.blogspot.com/2009/07/google-chrome-os-faq.html

Their plans bear a striking resemblance to that second product after
gOS by GoodOS inc. namely "Cloud OS", see
http://www.thinkgos.com/cloud/index.html

Coincidence? It would explain some things, only recently I mused that
one reason they were so occupied could be that they were (helping)
developing "the next best thing (tm)". Perhaps this is it.
Or maybe they were just too lazy and uninterested in their forum to
combat the spam there... :-(

Time will (perhaps) tell...
