Google just released the news that they will put into the world a new
brainchild of theirs, a new OS they hope will compete with Windows on
the netbook platform. A Linux based OS called "Google Chrome OS".
Read their official announcement here:
http://chrome.blogspot.com/2009/07/google-chrome-os-faq.html

The remarkable thing is that Googles plans bear a striking resemblance
to that second product (after gOS) of GoodOS inc. namely "Cloud OS",
see http://www.thinkgos.com/cloud/index.html

Coincidence? It would explain some things!
Only recently I mused (in another gOS forum) that one reason they were
so very occupied could be the fact that they were developing "the next
best thing (tm)".

Perhaps this is it.

Or (when I am in a more cynical mood) maybe they were just too lazy
and uninterested in their forum to combat the spam there... :-(
Time will (perhaps) tell...
