I believe in equality for all.
So do I.
Mr. Eich's active stance against gay marriage is troubling, and run contrary to
the mission and goals of Mozilla.
Does it? I'm not sure I read anything that suggests so in the Manifesto.
Please re-read carefully https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/about/manifesto/
I'd be careful with the use of the word "active". He made a donation in
2008, the rest is speculation so far.
He expressed sorrow at having caused pain

Let's see what happens moving forward.
I don't wish to stop using Firefox, but would rather do so than support the
views of Mr. Eich
How does using Firefox mean supporting Brendan Eich's view? I use
Firefox, disagree with the view he expressed and can look myself in the
mirror in the morning.
Brendan Eich isn't Firefox. He hasn't written all the code. Not even
most of it. According to this https://gps.pastebin.mozilla.org/4739342
he hasn't even committed code that much in 2013.
The Prop 8 thing came out in 2012. He was CTO back then. Why didn't you
stop using Firefox then?
or in anyway provide income to Mr. Eich so he can continue with his anti-gay
stance.
lol. As if Brendan Eich would become income-less if people stopped using
Firefox.
Does anyone know of an email address where I can voice my concerns directly to
Mozilla?
You've been read I believe.
If you want to move the LGBT rights cause forward, I'm not really sure
boycotting Firefox is the most efficient thing to do. I don't even think
it has an impact at all.
