At Mozilla, we do believe in activism and idealism, and so I don't think
anyone would criticize you for wanting to take a stand. However, please
take an informed and educated stand. Are you sure that whoever you support
instead would be better? Brendan has never spoken out against LGBT rights.
This donation is only public because someone looked at a donor list.

If you've been following the coverage you'll know that lots of people
within Mozilla, and Mozilla's leadership, are LGBT activists. Mozilla
leadership is not suppressing these activities, and they even support and
contribute to them.

You know of one action Brendan took, but you don't know what's in his
heart. You also don't know what's in the hearts of the leadership of other
companies who haven't had similar news cycles. I hope you (and anyone else
considering a boycott) will spend time thinking about this topic before
making a decision.
