While I am disappointed that the board has not [yet] published a public
announcement supporting Brendan, I have never heard of any corporation
issuing a resolution such as the one you describe. Does this really happen?

More generally, I know that the board wanted to keep Brendan a part of
Mozilla even if he could not stay as CEO. It is my understanding that
Brendan rejected the offers.

Best regards,
 David
