Hi Linus, For what it's worth, the Mozilla culture is that of individuals stepping up, not management doing it. And indeed, many of us stood up for Brendan, on our blogs, on Twitter or in private.
If you have some time, you may be interested to look at http://planet.mozilla.org, which is the de facto voice of the Mozilla community. You'll have to scroll back by a few days to see what was blogged before and immediately after Brendan's resignation, but you will see plenty of support for Brendan. (I did some clean-up on my inbox and can't find Boris' e-mail, so it may be that he already provided the link. If so, sorry about the duplication.)
