Niemöller was talking specifically about failure to speak out against people being taken away to concentration camps. The Klan's tactics included cross-burning and lynching. These things are so much more objectionable than the tactic of calling for someone's resignation that I think we're skating pretty close to Godwin now, so close that I won't mind a bit if this message of mine is stopped by the moderator(s). I do hope Mozilla's next statement will address what was not done to push back against the tactics used against Mr. Eich while recognizing that those tactics are well within the speech rights of the people who employed them. _______________________________________________ governance mailing list [email protected] https://lists.mozilla.org/listinfo/governance
