I think we haven't really been talking a lot about the tactics other than the tweets and other online campaigns.
I have heard under circumstances that can only be considered hearsay that things like death threats were issued towards Brendan, but I haven't seen much talk about it. Certainly it would be easier to convince people that he resigned (rather than being forced out) if it was publicly known that he was at the receiving end of an onslaught of the internet's best hate.
