Peter, this is an aside but I'm sending it to the list instead of to you 
personally so that you will (hopefully) see that I'm not contradicted: it's 
unsafe as far as hacking goes to use Java on the web, so I'd consider either 
not using it or else coming up with some procedure to have Java active *only* 
when absolutely necessary.
