Hi Fernando, Yeah I don’t think it’s that trivial, but nothing will change if we don’t start.
IMO there are 2 directions to go: * Use system dialog just like current firefox account UI - it is living in a standalone iframe. The only code remaining in system directly is the FirefoxAccountSystemDialog. * Use attention window just like call screen app. This way is clean than above because it is nearly an app. The only code in system is DialerAgent who invokes it and CallscreenWindow who makes it behave a little different from normal attention window. > Fernando Rodríguez Sela <[email protected]> 於 2014年11月18日 > 下午10:54 寫道: > > Hi Tim, > > Sorry for the delay on my response. > > I don't see trivial to move STK out of System app since there're some > corner cases which force us to maintain the app running (for example, > STK events) > > Anyway, with special permissions for an independent STK app we can drive > & study it. > > Regarding move all STK code to an explicit folder inside system & > settings app is a simple move and I agree with that.
