Yes, introductions on a team-by-team basis probably makes more sense than on an individual basis.
Many of you already gave a pretty good sketch of your team in response to the hackathon<http://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/wiki/HackathonOne> registration suvey. So I collected it into a DevTeams<http://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/wiki/DevTeams> page (minus phone numbers and a few other details that looked like they might be sensitive). Feel free to tweak the page to better reflect our teams. And/or send mail to gpc-dev that we can link to. The KUMC section currently looks like this: The University of Kansas Medical Center (KUMC) * Russ Waitman (bio, photo<http://www.kumc.edu/ea-mi/director-of-medical-informatics.html>) * GPC PI * HERON<https://informatics.kumc.edu/work/wiki/HERON> architect * Dan Connolly, lead Biomedical Informatics Software Engineer * HERON<https://informatics.kumc.edu/work/wiki/HERON> dev lead * GPC SoftwareDev<http://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/wiki/SoftwareDev> lead: introduction in gpc-dev<http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg00044.html> * Nathan Graham, Biomedical Informatics Software Engineer * e.g. HERON:MedMapping * Matt Hoag, Biomedical Informatics Software Engineer * Tamara McMahon, clinical informatics coordinator * GPC Honest broker See also PMO<http://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/wiki/PMO> for other GPC support roles from KUMC. The HERON repository contains approximately 1.3 billion real observations from the hospital, clinics, and research systems. See also * KUMC Informatics Blog<https://informatics.kumc.edu/work/blog> for monthly HERON release info. * KUMC BMI presentations<http://frontiersresearch.org/frontiers/kumc_bmi_presentations> The page contains a suggested format: suggested format for team info: * Name, job title, email * GPC-relevant roles short blurb they have written about their team or their system But feel free to salt to taste. -- Dan ________________________________ From: Greater Plains Collaborative Software Development [[email protected]] on behalf of Justin Dale [[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, February 02, 2014 4:29 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: Introductions: role, background, contact info Thank you for the introduction Dan.
