I shared the code as attachments to #89<http://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/ticket/89>. dmtoterms.py<http://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/attachment/ticket/89/dmtoterms.py> starts with doctests that discuss the conversion in some detail, including a few open issues (e.g. whether provider makes sense as a scalar).

The transformation is incomplete sort of by nature and even what I was trying to do is a little buggy (m_applied_path especially), but it might be worth a look. -- Dan
