I can also share the file that UW uses too if you want. Nathan

That comment is on a low priority KUMC ticket; so while in some sense we're planning to automate UMLS to CPT, the plans aren't very definite. Meanwhile, Hubert, you're welcome to the messy CPT stuff in heron_terms.zip<https://pcornet.centraldesktop.com/c4gpc/file/30772957/> on the PCORnet central desktop. -- Dan ________________________________ From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [[email protected]] on behalf of Phillip Reeder [[email protected]] Sent: Thursday, May 15, 2014 10:31 AM To: Hickman, Hubert B; [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Re: CPT metadata We created our CPT hierarchy from the UMLS. Do you have a local copy of the UMLS that you can use? If so, I'm sure someone can send you the code needed to create the CPT metadata. Dan, Are you planning to create a GPC CPT hierarchy for procedures using the same script you used for the ICD9 hierarchy? That way the paths, names, and such will be consistent with the other hierarchies we have.
