Where would you expect to find stage and receptor status?
I see **UTSW - Cancer Staging \Breast** on babel (with various modifiers)
under UTSW Beacon.
I'm not sure KUMC uses Beacon, and if we do, whether it's feasible to get
the data in i2b2 in a relevant timeframe.
I don't see "receptor" under Beacon. I get >500 hits under UNMC SNOMEDCT.
For chemo treatment, I gather HCPCS J9000-J999 is the thing to look for.
KUMC HERON doesn't include HCPCS yet. Integrating the UTHSCSA HCPCS code
is on our todo list, though it's not going very quickly.
I suppose there are CPT codes for breast cancer surgery... I don't know
about radiation, endocrine or hormonal therapy.
