In a word, no, we haven't settled on a design. The relevant issue is still open:

The HCPCS hierarchy on the UTHSCSA tree on babel looks pretty good, using the AUI’s consistent with the ICD9 diagnosis. And I’m inclined to adopt that one for the CPT hierarchy. I’m not finding an equivalent ICD9 Procedures that use the AUI. Does anyone know if one exists?
