Philip, We have an ICD-9 procedure terminology loaded in our instance of i2b2 at UW Madison. It's a start if you want to begin mapping your data to it. Once you get SCHILS, you might have to add a few hundred codes.

The relevant issue is still open: * #243: design-issue: GPC Procedure Ontology: CPT, HCPCS (assigned)<https://informatics.gpcnetwork.org/trac/Project/ticket/243> I personally lean toward adopting the SCILHS procedure ontology. We plan to integrate it into HERON in our next release. The HCPCS hierarchy on the UTHSCSA tree on babel looks pretty good, using the AUI's consistent with the ICD9 diagnosis. And I'm inclined to adopt that one for the CPT hierarchy. I'm not finding an equivalent ICD9 Procedures that use the AUI. Does anyone know if one exists?
