As of Friday we had about 30 people registered to come to this workshop from around the country, and about 6 slots left (maybe a few more if we get any late cancellations). I haven’t seen the full list of registered names myself, and this message is the first we promoted directly to GPC (probably something I should have thought of before) so I don’t know for sure if any engagement folks from GPC are coming other than Deb and me. But there theoretically could already be a person or two from GPC institutions that learned about the meeting and registered incidentally. It should be a cool opportunity and a good time, I think. It’d be great for some GPC folks to be there, as I think we have some good perspectives and experiences to share. But it’s definitely a late notice on my part, and so nobody should feel pressured to drop plans in order to make their way to Denver for this. Also, this workshop is developmental focused, and our extended plans include moving toward hosting a larger symposium on this topic in late 2017/early 2018. Hope that helps clarify a bit.
