We are just now investigating adding the digital signing component to Argus for the Top End (NT) initiative of HealthConnect. Will keep you informed how we go, but a good bit of the technical research has been done.

Hi List,
Our 7 doctor practice runs off Terminal Services. Even if we have an app
that allows us to do digital signage of referrals to specialists/pathology
using PKI personal keys on USB, where do we put the 'dongle' ( so to
speak!)?

Stephen,

I understand that Windows 2003 server supports USB functions at the clients. I have that that this applies to printing and if you look on the 2003 server site it may inform you re USB devices such as the 'iKey' dongle.

I assume you have got Argus running for these purposes and want to implement the GP to specialist direction of your messaging project. Let us all know how you go, as digitally signed referrals interest me a lot in the whole secure messaging deal.

Server 2000 doesn't support USB printing, or anything else, at the clients.

Greg
