Greg, Andre
MDW2 makes a direct API call to Argus, using the program 'Diabetes
Transmission Utility.EXE'. It creates a fully-formed HL7 message, which
Argus sends encrypted with PKI.
When the HL7 message is received, Argus can be configured to convert the
HL7 data into a CSV file. This CSV file can be uploaded into CARDIAB.

Presumably CARDIAB are/were using an ODBC link to the FoxPro tables;
is this the functionality that you mean but with MS SQL tables in the
MD3 sense ??
Andre,
HCN wrote an extraction tool for the Cardiab system. It's available on
every MD2 disk. It extracts the data into a csv file that is picked up
by Argus, which in turn mails it securely to us. Needs HeSA location
certificates.
How it acts on the MD2 FoxPro DB I don't know, or care about much.
Clearly, a different technology, ODBC or some other, will be needed
for MS SQL, however.
