Thanks Liz and David,
We haven't beeen able to use Argus for years because Locum documents
section only recognises *.jpg and html files.
However there is a new feature in Argus where the incoming HL7 can be
placed in a selected folder as a text document.
I found a Text to html converter on the net asctoHTML ($41)and it can
convert the text files to HTML and place it Locum ScanDocuments section
for matching to a patients file.
The original text files are left it the original folder. These need to
be moved elsewhere.
I plan to run your batch file, Liz, on the bottom of the batch
conversion file.
I can then schedule Argus and the conversion batch file to automatically
download, convert the files, place them into Locum's folder and then
move the old text files elsewhere for archiving.
Thankyou Liz and David, and thankyou Argus for this new feature.
Regards
Michael Christie
