Hello everyone
I am looking for expressions of interest from
clinicians of all ilk's to participate in a Clinical Informatics
Conference/Seminar in August on the Saturday before the HIC on August 19 in
Sydney.
I was thinking of basing it loosely on the old GPCG
forums as well as the Physician Forums run by HIMSS prior to its
conference.
Essentially it would be a forum where clinicians
can get together to hear a few eminent speakers, be involved in a few panels,
and join in on robust debate from the floor.
Hopefully it will be educational, thought provoking
and give rise to some new ideas we can pursue as research and policy as we go
forward.
I would appreciate to hear from any one who has
ideas on whether this is worth pursuing, if you would attend, and who we should
invite.
I would hope to make this a relatively low cost
event, possibly by drawing some sponsorship from a few
organisations.
Any suggestion on who to ask and who not to ask for
sponsorship?
