lay off ian; they've still got to the end of june (or was it july?) to
have the system up and running like a well oiled machine :-)
i predicted last year this was unlikely, and nothing in the interim
suggests any need to alter my prophecy

Interoperability Framework
NEHTA has published its Interoperability Framework v1.0 for comment.
1st April 2006. Of course it's significant.
NEHTA is a temporary interoperability organisation, it has no scope to
design and build anything real. It is governed by the jurisdictions, who
are clueless that the wealth of information known to GPs about patients
could help them.
Meanwhile....life goes on.
No doubt something useful will emerge one day.
