Of course then psychiatry - a psychiatrist is a chiropractor with tired hands. I have only met one who was in touch with the feelings of those around him. I dont think that talking cures work. It is largely biochemical and good luck which gets people through. I had to deal with many of the disasters of the 70 with depressives getting valium rather than proper treatment. I met people today who have patented a mouse - an animal. It displays psychotic behaviour, particularly walking in circles, when it is psychotic. Fascinating - it is valued at $30M. Apparently it is the first time an animal has been patented. It seems that when you give it antipsychotics it behaves normally.
