Not so Elizabeth. Both Sonic and Symbion already send atomised HL7 with
the PIT. They have been doing this for a long time. The failing is in
the clinical applications that have very variable abilities wrt
receiving results. Most have chosen to work with the 'lowest common
denominator'; PIT.
