Interesting. There is not a single employee in our local hospital who doesn't hate our local Cerner installation with a passion - it has slowed down administration to almost a complete halt and is simply refused by clinicians, and all that despite extensive and expensive staff training. After one good look and a demonstration I decided to give it a wide berth and simply ignore it - the user interface is an obscenity disregarding just about everything known to man kind in ergonomy and usability, and the technology underneath is a black box I have no interest in opening. I talked to other people e.g. from the base hospital and they share my opinion - they all; curse the Area Health Services administration for forcing this monstrosity down their throat without ever asking the people who have to suffer it and loose productivity in turn Horst _______________________________________________ Gpcg_talk mailing list [email protected] http://ozdocit.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/gpcg_talk
