also, regarding firebird, we do a lot of in-house data entry,
information massaging etc using web browsers. I sometimes have
difficulty copying information from a firefox tab to the windows
clipboard. It sometimes takes 3 or more tries of right click -> copy to
actually get it into the clipboard.

no
but if it bothers you i suggest you try autocopy (extension) +/-
quicknote (another extension that lets you save up to 4 tabs of "notes"
as simple tabs inside firefox - you don't need to cut and paste any more)
