I bought my first PC (Toshiba notebook) and printer (HP 6P) in 1997.
The notebook was stolen in 1999 but the printer still sits on my desk.
It squawks a bit and is not very fast but after 9 years who's complaining.
When our HP 2200 died the temporary printer was another 6P.
The reason I bought laser was fairly basic - I didn't want the ink to
run if the script got wet. Do inkjets have fast inks nowadays? I
haven't an inkjet since my Apple Stylewriter!
