One of the blessings of Dorrigo is that it has very patchy and unreliable
mobile cover - excellent excuse for me not to wear one.

All I have is my pager. It displays a message, and after reading it *I* decide
if and when I feel like returning a call or acting upon it. Infinitely better
than being bothered by everybody and his do g at all times.

Another advantage: every message the triage nurse sends me is logged - there
never will be any disputes about what they said when they call me in

Yet another advantage: nobody but the hospital can page me - simply no way for
patients to bypass the triage system. Invaluable when you are on call 5
consecutive days 24 hours a day all year round.
