I am pleased to report that I have now received the first few letters
from a medical specialist via the Argus clinical messaging system. This
is a result of the Adelaide North East Division's project to help and
encourage its members and local medical specialists to install and start
using Argus.

The letters sent via Argus just turned up in my clinical inbox. I read
them and clicked on the button to file them and that was that. I
enjoyed their better legibility than that of scanned documents, their
lesser use of hard disk space and being able to file them easily. I was
conscious of and very happy about the fact that the letters arrived
without our receptionists having even to know that they had arrived or
to handle them in any way, saving our practice significant staff time
and effort.

I have now also sent referrals to the specialist via Argus, and I
believe that he has been receiving them easily at his end.

I am looking forwards to a number of other specialists practices
starting to use Argus within the next few weeks and being able to send
referrals to them also via Argus and to receive their replies via Argus.
