Oliver We too have just started receiving specialist letters via Argus. This only came about because I was interested and our local vascular surgeon is very keen to reduce his postage costs. He saw the business case. We are now trying to convince others. Argusconnect installed Argus for us. Michael Christie (also a Locum user) figured out a work around for Locum as it does not yet have the ability to receive correspondence (other than scanned image files) into the in box. So in our case, the encrypted e-mail comes into Argus, is decrypted, and then a conversion program converts the text file to HTML. This is then dumped (using a batch file) into our Locum scanned document tray. The receptionists match the document to doctor and patient as they currently do for scanned documents, and then it appears in our In Box. A small amount of mucking around, but better than scanning! I hope that for us this is the end of the beginning! Rob Hosking
