I would suggest this is largely a symptom of members insisting on posting in a poor manner, particularly top posting, a practice which should be outlawed.
Can email programmes be set to scroll to the bottom? Scrolling to the bottom of every moderately sized email is the incentive to top- posting. You see the latest edition without scrolling with top- posting. Fix the email programmes and it would be easier.
